The Light of the World Live...from Maui
(A Television Show Concept)
The Light of the World Live.....from Maui features the people, projects and programs that are bringing light to our community, emphasising the topics of relationship, environment and health.
"Light" is defined as that which enlightens, enlivens, educates, enriches, and creates win-win solutions to problems, based on holistic, integrated, inter-dependent systems models of the world.
The show would originate on Maui, and would inspire other communities to create their own Light of the World Live....shows from their own locations (e.g., London, Moscow, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., New York, Rio de Janeiro, Anchorage, Bombay, Rome , Paris, etc. etc.).
The productions are electronically linked so that the best shows from any given location are shared with each of the other locations at desired times.
Theoretically, the widespread showing of such shows will inspire viewers to create holistic, win-win solutions to their own problems and issues, and the viewing audience will hve new positive role-models on which to base their beliefs, decisions, and actions.
A feedback system is created whereby the audience reports the successes inspired by each show to the production team. The production team, in turn, creates new shows based on the audience input and increasing numbers of people enhance each others lives.
The motto of the show is:
"The Light of the World is Everywhere; We Share With You Ours"
